Privacy notice
Updated October 4, 2026. This notice describes the current website. Service-specific consent and business contact details must be finalized before public client onboarding.
Service requests
When you send a request, the website stores the name, email, optional phone, postal code and general description you provide, together with the service requested, consent version and request time. These details are used to assess and respond to that request. No marketing subscription is created.
Keep private records out of the website
Do not submit medical records, income documents, identification numbers or another person’s private information through the request form or guide. Photos, family updates and sensitive documents require a separate agreed process and consent.
The service guide and AI
The guide uses prewritten service information when AI is not enabled. If AI is enabled, your question, up to eight recent messages in the current chat and StayGuided service information are sent to OpenAI to generate an answer. The website does not persist chat transcripts and requests that API responses not be stored. This does not remove provider-side processing or retention governed by the provider’s policies. Do not share sensitive details in chat.
Payments
When enabled, payments are collected through Stripe-hosted checkout. StayGuided does not collect or store full card details. Payment reference, checkout identifiers and payment status can be recorded for the requested service. Stripe processes payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.
Hosting and access
Site hosting and its database process the information submitted. Access is restricted through the current private website. Public launch requires a named privacy contact, documented retention and deletion procedures, provider arrangements and appropriate staff access controls. Hosting does not establish Canadian-only data residency.
Your choices
You can decline to submit information. An inquiry does not authorize sharing updates with family or service providers. Requesting service for another person does not replace their consent or an authorized representative’s instructions.
Retention and requests
Records should be kept only for documented service, financial or legal purposes. The owner must establish retention periods and a monitored privacy contact before public onboarding. During private review, use the project conversation to request removal of test records.
